Selling Autograph Cards

After getting many requests about autographs, I ended up creating a store where I sold signed autograph cards. The autograph cards were a huge success, and it did not take long before I had sold over 100 cards.

I was not prepared for the amount of work this included, and therefore I was forced to close the store as the new training season begun. I do not currently have the capacity to handle the orders now that I have resumed my regular training rhythm. But I hope that I’ll get some help later, and that I maybe can organize another run later in the summer or autumn!

We did it!

As I said earlier, over 100 cards was bought by you, my fans, and we ended up raising 1065€. All that money was going to charity, and it was up to me to decide which.

I got a lot of good requests from you through my email, and I considered every one of them. But what I ended up going for was Eden Reforestation Projects. This organization came to my attention through IBU’s Biathlon Climate Challenge. After reading up on it, I quickly saw that this organization tackles both poverty and climate change by hiring people in poverty stricken areas to plant trees.

The amount of money we gave, 1065€, will make 12800 trees being planted. That’s the area of 1,5 football fields!

At 1st of May I therefore was very happy to announce this decision in my social media, and I’m glad we were able to make such a good impact on the world. All thanks to my fans!
